Last week we received 8 brand new free spirit fabrics into the shop. Some Kaffee Fassett classics and a couple of Brandon Mably.
They always co ordinate so well together and seeing as I haven't sewn anything, that hasn't been one of my projects, in ages, I went searching for a little project I could try with them. I found this purse pattern and I can't recommend it enough if you want something quick to make. Its called the Teeny Tiny Zipper Pouch by So Sew Easy and it is exactly that. Its cute and simple to make. There is even a video tutorial to help you. I watched this first and it was enough to not need the pattern at all! I made two! I could have made more if I hadn't been reminded I am supposed to be selling the stock not sewing with it!
They look a bit bigger in the picture than they are. The finished size is only 3.5" x 2" so they require very little fabric. You could easily lengthen them to pencil case size or enlarge to fit some tissues or even shrink for even tinier ones! It really is a solid, simple little pattern.
If you would like to win one of these purses we are going to be giving them away shortly. Just go to out Facebook Page for more details
